According to detectives, Nookie was shot during an argument with several other women.
Investigators are looking into a deadly shooting that happened on Wednesday evening on Liddell Street.
Officers were called to the scene shortly before 8:45 p.m. in the 100 block of Liddell Street.

The victim, 43-year-old Nookie Pearson, was taken to ECMC but later died.
