24-year-old Rachel Dulay Gonzales killed after shooting in Vallejo

Emergency medical services transported the male victim to a local hospital for a non-life-threatening injury.

On May 18, 2024, at approximately 11:04 P.M., the Vallejo Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to a report of a shooting on the 2900 block of Redwood Parkway.

Upon arrival, patrol officers located an adult male and female, each suffering from at least one gunshot wound. They provided both victims with medical aid until medical personnel arrived.

When medical personnel arrived, they pronounced the female victim deceased at the scene.

The female victim who was killed has been identified as 24-year-old Rachel Dulay Gonzales, Channel3 NOW las learned.

Emergency medical services transported the male victim to a local hospital for a non-life-threatening injury.

The Vallejo Police Department’s Homicide Detectives responded to the scene and took over the investigation.

The motive and circumstances surrounding the shooting are under investigation at this time.
