“Our thoughts are with Khyree’s family, friends, teammates and coaches, as well as all the victims of this tragic accident,” the team said in a statement.

According to his mother, Ebony Jackson, Khyree died in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

She heartbreakingly confirmed the news after receiving a call at 4:00 am ET this morning.

Khyree was a cornerback drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2024 NFL Draft (Round 4, 108th overall).

Before the NFL, he played college football for both the Oregon Ducks and the Alabama Crimson Tide.

A native of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, he attended Dr. Henry Wise High School.

He was tragically young at only 24 years old.
