Kyle Clifford has been apprehended and taken to the hospital, police have reported.

Authorities launched a manhunt for the 26-year-old after the bodies of Carol Hunt and her two daughters, Louise and Hannah, were discovered at their home in Bushey, Hertfordshire.

The suspect was located in the Enfield area this afternoon and is currently receiving medical treatment for his injuries. Police confirmed that no shots were fired during the arrest.

Investigators believe Clifford was known to the victims. Detective Inspector Justine Jenkins from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit stated, “Following extensive enquiries, the suspect has been located and nobody else is being sought in connection with the investigation at this time.”

DI Jenkins expressed gratitude for the public’s assistance, acknowledging the overwhelming number of calls received. She urged anyone with information or footage to contact the police directly and avoid posting on social media, as it could hinder the investigation.

Additional police officers will remain in the local area today to reassure the public. DI Jenkins also noted that this is an “incredibly difficult time” for the victims’ family and requested that their privacy be respected.
