11-year-old Brentlee Eugene Crump killed in Florence County shooting
An autopsy has been requested as part of the investigation.
The Florence County Sheriff’s Office and the Florence County Coroner’s Office are currently investigating a fatal shooting incident that took place on April 17, 2024, around 8:00 p.m. on Clover Hill Road in Scranton, SC.
According to investigators, the victim, an 11-year-old, was taken from the scene to a nearby hospital, where they were pronounced deceased.
Florence County Coroner Keith Von Lutcken has identified the deceased as Brentlee Eugene Crump.
An autopsy has been requested as part of the investigation.
