Shooting Reported near KJ’s grocery store in Florence

Florence Police Department is currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred Wednesday afternoon near KJ’s grocery store along the 2300 block of Pamplico Highway, as reported by Captain Stephen Starling.

As at the time of this report, there has been neither confirmation nor identification of any victims.

A witness at the scene reported that two individuals arrived at the parking lot of KJ’s and engaged in gunfire but missed each other, resulting in no injuries. However, they allegedly shattered the front window of the store. Although the incident was captured on the store’s surveillance camera, an individual outside witnessed the entire event.

No suspects have been identified, and there has been no information immediately released regarding any arrests.

Police ask public to please stay out of the area.
