The identities of the two women who lost their lives in a convenience store shooting in east Las Vegas earlier this week, wherein an unidentified gunman opened fire, have been confirmed.

The incident occurred at a store close to Tropicana Avenue and Nellis Boulevard around 3:25 a.m. on Tuesday morning, resulting in three individuals being shot.

One woman was declared deceased at the scene, while another was transported to Sunrise Hospital and later pronounced dead, as previously indicated by the police.

The Clark County coroner has identified the two women as Rona M. Ah-Foon and Summer Lange, both 29 years old, with an “unknown home city,” according to the coroner’s office statement.

Medical examiners determined that Ah-Foon died from a gunshot wound to the pelvis, and her death was classified as a homicide.

Lange’s demise was likewise classified as a homicide, with medical examiners concluding that she succumbed to a gunshot wound to the back.

As of the latest update, the third victim of the shooting, a man in his 20s, has not been publicly named. Police stated that he remains hospitalized in “stable condition.”

Authorities are actively seeking the perpetrator and have urged the public to come forward with any information that may help identify the individual responsible for the shooting.

In an initial report regarding the investigation, authorities stated that they are seeking a Black man dressed in all dark clothing and wearing a surgical-type mask.

He allegedly approached the store on a bicycle, discharged gunfire into the establishment, and then fled eastbound on Tropicana Avenue.
