Victims killed in mass shooting during a birthday celebration in King City identified

The King City Police Department has announced a $20,000 reward for information leading to the apprehension of the three suspects responsible for the shooting that resulted in the deaths of four individuals on Sunday night.

The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office reported that the three suspects departed in a stolen 2017 Kia Rio, bearing license plate 7ZND369. Deputies further indicated that all three suspects discharged their firearms at the crowd.

Among the victims identified by family members and the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office are 32-year-old Alicia Ramirez Aparicio, 42-year-old Mario Guzman Mendoza, and 32-year-old Olivo Perez Pina, all residents of King City.

Relatives have identified the fourth victim as Francisco Aldape, who is the brother-in-law of Alicia Ramirez Aparicio.

A celebration took a tragic turn into a deadly mass shooting on Sunday at approximately 6 p.m. along North 2nd Street. Authorities reported that three individuals, clad in dark clothing and masks, exited a vehicle parked in front of a residence and began firing shots. According to a family member, Alicia was hosting her party when she, along with three other attendees, was fatally shot outside her home.

Alicia, survived by her husband and four children, leaves a profound void in their lives.

Alicia’s husband was also injured in the shooting but has since been discharged from the hospital.

Relatives have confirmed that the victim is Mario Guzman from King City. According to a family member, Guzman is survived by his wife and two daughters.

Seven additional individuals were transported to Natividad Medical Center due to gunshot wounds. Among them, two are still in critical condition while five sustained injuries that are not life-threatening, according to the King City Police.

On Sunday night in King City, at least four individuals lost their lives, and seven others sustained injuries in a shooting incident.

Authorities were alerted to the sound of gunshots around 6 p.m. in the 200 block of North Second Street in King City.

Upon reaching the scene, law enforcement discovered three adult males with gunshot wounds in the front yard of a residence. Sadly, all three were declared deceased at the scene.

Additionally, King City Police informed Channel3 NOW that a woman was taken to Mee Memorial Hospital by another individual, where she was later pronounced dead.

Authorities in California are seeking three suspects following a shooting at a house party on Sunday evening that resulted in the deaths of four individuals and left at least seven others wounded.

Police were called to the residence in King City, situated along California’s central coast, around 6 p.m. Sunday.

The incident occurred during a party at the house, with multiple individuals gathered in the front yard.

According to a statement from the King City police, a silver Kia pulled up in front of the residence, and three men exited the vehicle, discharging several rounds.

The individuals suspected of involvement were dressed in dark-colored attire and had dark masks covering their heads.

After the shooting, they fled the scene in the car.

According to police statements, three adult men with gunshot injuries were discovered in the front yard, all of whom were pronounced deceased at the scene.

Additionally, eight more individuals sustained gunshot wounds. An adult woman among them was transported to a nearby hospital by another individual, where she succumbed to her injuries.

The remaining seven victims, all adult men, were taken to another hospital, but their current condition has not been disclosed.
