Presently, a multitude of emergency personnel and various agencies are responding to an aircraft incident at Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester Airport in Rochester, New York.

The incident involves an American Eagle flight 5811 operated by Piedmont, which skidded off the runway due to icy and snowy conditions.

With at least 53 passengers on board, there have been no reported injuries at this time.

Emergency crews are actively engaged in efforts to extract the aircraft from the runway.
