Chris Rivers found shot to death inside vehicle in North Charleston

At present, no arrests have been made in connection with the fatal incident.

North Charleston Police are currently probing a shooting that resulted in the death of a man shortly after midnight on Tuesday.

Responding to a report of numerous shots in the area of Joppa Avenue around 12:21 a.m., officers discovered an unresponsive man in the driver’s seat of a running gray Nissan Rogue, as detailed in an incident report.

Unfortunately, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Close to the vehicle, officers discovered rifle shell casings, and upon inspection, numerous bullet holes were evident in the victim’s vehicle and an adjacent dark green Hyundai Sonata, also running, as per the police.

At present, no arrests have been made in connection with the fatal incident.
