33-year-old Precious D’Antignac dead after shooting in Augusta

A fatal shooting occurred in the Laney Walker Bethlehem area of Augusta, resulting in one fatality.
Responding to a report of a shooting, Richmond County Deputies arrived at the 1100 block of Maxwell Street shortly before 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3.
At the scene, deputies discovered a female victim who had sustained at least one gunshot wound. Unfortunately, investigators determined that she succumbed to her injuries.
The victim has been identified as 33-year-old Precious D’Antignac by Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen.
Reportedly, she was discovered deceased within her residence. Currently, there is no information available regarding a suspect or the events that preceded this incident.
