Police ask public to please stay out of the area.
An active shooter has been reported at the Links Columbia Apartments.
Columbia Police report that the suspect in this morning’s shooting incident at the Links Apartments has barricaded himself inside an apartment.
Their SWAT and crisis negotiation teams are on the scene. Residents are advised to avoid the area.
Police officers are currently at the scene conducting an investigation.
As at the time of this report, there has been neither confirmation nor identification of any victims.
No suspects have been identified, and there has been no information immediately released regarding any arrests.
