2 dead, 7 injured after shooting at Ballers Hookah Lounge and Cigar Bar in Penn Hills
Preliminary information indicates an altercation took place inside the bar and multiple individuals opened fire.
Update: The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victims of the tragic shooting early Sunday morning at a bar in Penn Hills.
They were Nathaniel Smiley Jr., 44, of Pittsburgh, and Stephanie Stuart, 28, of McKeesport.
At 2:53 am on June 2, County 9-1-1 was notified of a reported shooting in the 3500 block of Laketon Road in Penn Hills.

First responders discovered an adult male and adult female deceased inside Ballers Hookah Lounge and Cigar Bar.
Seven additional victims were discovered throughout the course of the investigation.
There were multiple victims transported from the scene and additional victims walked in to area hospitals.
One of those victims is in critical condition. The remaining victims all have non life-threatening injuries.
Penn Hills Police requested the assistance of the Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit and detectives initiated an investigation.
