For domestic violence situations in Texas, it is recommended to call the police if a disturbance cannot be controlled, or to leave the area to allow individuals to cool off.

It is advised not to take matters into your own hands, as this could result in criminal charges.

Local resources, such as the Purple Door, are available to help domestic violence victims.
