32-year-old Precious Taste and 16-year-old Deante Johnson killed in Dayton shooting

According to police on the scene, two people are dead following a reported shooting in Dayton on Wednesday morning.

The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office identified the victims Wednesday afternoon as 32-year-old Precious Taste and 16-year-old Deante Johnson.

Dayton police and medics responded to the 1400 block of Shaftesbury Road at 6:20 a.m. after receiving initial reports of a shooting.

Dayton Police Major Brian Johns provided an update on Thursday, revealing that Taste was four months pregnant when she was murdered.

The suspect has been identified as Nicole Cunigan Jr., who is still at large.

According to Johns, Cunigan fled the scene in a white Chevy Malibu, which has since been recovered in Trotwood.
