19-year-old Devonte Beverly killed in Middletown shooting
As of Sunday, no arrests or suspects have been announced.
The victim of Sunday morning’s fatal shooting has been identified as a 19-year-old man.
The Butler County Coroner’s Office confirmed the man’s identity as Devonte Malachi Beverly on Tuesday.
Beverly was one of three individuals shot in the 1700 block of Sheffield Street around 3:25 a.m. Police responded to the area and found three individuals shot while seated in their car.
Beverly was declared deceased at the scene, while the other two victims were transported to Atrium Medical Center for medical attention, according to the police.
The severity of their injuries remains undisclosed.
