57-year-old Anthony Martin Landry charged with murder in fatal shooting of attorney Jeffrey Limmer at McDonald’s

A suspect, Anthony Martin Landry, 57, has been charged with murder in connection with the fatal shooting of Jeffrey Limmer, 46, at 8147 Katy Freeway (West Interstate Highway 10) service road around 6 p.m. on May 4th.

Landry, who is currently not in custody, has charges filed against him in the 209th State District Court.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives H. Martinez and S. Chettrey reported the following:

Upon responding to a shooting at a restaurant at the mentioned address, HPD patrol officers discovered an unidentified male unconscious with multiple gunshot wounds.

Houston Fire Department paramedics arrived at the scene and pronounced the man, later identified as Mr. Limmer, deceased.

The suspect fled the scene driving an early 2000s blue Ford pickup truck.

Initial investigations suggest that Limmer was shot by the suspect following a verbal altercation.

Subsequent inquiries identified Landry as the suspect, and on Wednesday (May 8), he was charged with murder. Landry is currently evading arrest.
