16-year-old shot and killed on Spring Street in Soho, suspect at large

Authorities have launched an investigation following the death of a victim, suspected to be a teenager, who succumbed to a gunshot wound to the head on a street in SoHo.

The incident occurred on Spring Street at approximately 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

The victim, believed to be around 16 years old, was transported to Bellevue Hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced dead.

Reports indicate that at least one suspect fled the scene on a Citi Bike.
