29-year-old Tommie Lee Shreck killed in Dayton shooting

The individual who lost his life in a shooting incident in Dayton on Wednesday has been identified.

The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office disclosed on Thursday that the deceased is 29-year-old Tommie Lee Shreck.

Reports of shots fired prompted a response from Dayton police and medics around 3 p.m. in the first block of West Norman Avenue, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered Shreck deceased inside the residence, as stated by Sgt. Creigee Coleman of the Dayton Police Department.

The homeowner was present and is currently undergoing questioning by homicide detectives, Coleman noted.

At present, the homeowner is not being regarded as a suspect by the police.
