41-year-old Rheuvonia Buck accused of killing 34-year-old Hakeem Burnett during domestic incident in Vicksburg
Investigators have stated that the motive behind the shooting is believed to be related to domestic issues.
According to Vicksburg police, a woman has been apprehended in relation to the fatal shooting of a man.
The incident occurred shortly before 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1st, in the vicinity of Grove Street and Hayes Street.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered 34-year-old Hakeem Samall Burnett on the ground, with apparent gunshot wounds.
He was transported to Meri Health River Region where he was pronounced dead.
Police have taken 41-year-old Rheuvonia Ramekia Buck into custody in connection with the shooting, and she faces charges of murder.
