15-year-old Chyell Paulk killed in after-prom shooting in Georgia

A tragic incident unfolded at an after-prom gathering in Georgia, where a 15-year-old girl lost her life and four others sustained injuries in a shooting, as reported by authorities.

Law enforcement responded to the incident around 12:25 a.m.

According to official statements, Chyell Paulk and four others were shot, with Chyell succumbing to her injuries after being transported to a hospital.

Among the injured, a 15-year-old boy remains in critical condition. Police have arrested and charged 17-year-old Channen Brown in connection with the shooting.

Brown faces charges including felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
