Amir Johnson killed his ex-girlfriend Shakeia Allen in Baltimore on Sunday, shortly after she had filed for a restraining order against him.

Previously, Baltimore County Police Department officers had been called to the 8500 block of Walther Boulevard in Nottingham following reports of a shooting.

Upon arrival, they discovered Shakeia, covered in blood, fatally shot.

A distressing video circulating on social media depicts Shakeia being chased and repeatedly shot in broad daylight by her former boyfriend.

The footage is deeply unsettling and highlights the gravity of the assault.

Shakeia had taken measures to safeguard herself.

During the preliminary investigation, law enforcement indicated that they did not perceive the shooting as a random act.

Authorities suspected that the victim had been specifically targeted. Police have since identified the victim as 27-year-old Shakeia Allen.

Court records indicate that in recent months, law enforcement had responded to multiple domestic disturbances at her former residence on Bayberry Road.

In late February, police were called to the residence after a report that her ex-boyfriend had assaulted her while she was in the process of moving her belongings out of the home.

Upon his arrest the following day, he relinquished a handgun that he had concealed in his waistband.

While law enforcement has yet to publicly identify a suspect in her homicide, just last week, a hearing for a protective order concerning both individuals was dismissed due to their absence from court.
