Authorities have detained a teenage girl under suspicion of attempted murder, following an incident where she allegedly stabbed two teachers and a young pupil with a butterfly knife.

It is believed that a Year Nine pupil was taken into custody, handcuffed, for questioning in connection with the attempted murder.

Both teachers were airlifted to the hospital after what the police described as a “multiple stabbing” at Ysgol Dyffryn Aman (Aman Valley School).

Dyfed-Powys Police have stated that the injuries sustained by the two teachers and the pupil are not life-threatening.
