Shooting reported at Wegmans in Rochester
No injuries have been reported.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is currently probing a shooting incident at the Pittsford Wegmans located on Monroe Avenue.
The store was placed on lockdown, with a deputy confirming the safety of everyone inside and indicating that they were being allowed to exit the building.
Outside the store, access to the parking lot entrance has been restricted, although the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is permitting individuals to depart.
Thankfully, no injuries have been reported.
As a precautionary measure, Wegmans has been placed on lockdown.
