At least two shot during celebration for Eid al-Fitr in Mill Creek, several suspects in custody

Police have confirmed that two individuals injured in the shooting are receiving treatment at a nearby hospital, with one of them identified as a suspect.

Law enforcement has also confirmed that no officers sustained injuries at the scene.

Efforts are underway to secure the hospital area and manage traffic in the vicinity of the incident. The incident was reported at the intersection of N 47th St & Wyalusing Ave.

Detectives are en route to the scene, prioritizing the arrival of medics to tend to the injured.

A perimeter is being established around the incident area, and traffic is being redirected to facilitate the ongoing investigation.

Medical personnel are on their way to assist a pedestrian struck by a vehicle amidst the chaos. The shooting reportedly took place during a celebration for Eid al-Fitr.

Law enforcement officers at the updated location have discovered multiple shell casings.

A white Honda Civic with license plate JRZ 7287 has been identified as being involved in the shooting. The suspect’s description is being updated to a 15-year-old black male with dreadlocks, last seen wearing a white T-shirt, black sweatpants, and gray sneakers after discarding a green hoodie.

Multiple suspects are in custody, and four firearms have been recovered.

Authorities are investigating the possibility of additional victims and are coordinating efforts to secure the area.

During the incident, law enforcement discharged their firearms, and the suspect, described as a black male, was last observed heading south on 48th Street.
