The victim, identified as 29-year-old Stefon Barnes, has been commemorated by loved ones who left candles and messages at the scene in his honor following the tragic incident.

Authorities report that a male suspect entered the Gourmet Deli on East Tremont Avenue in West Farms around 4 a.m.

He was dressed entirely in black, including his jacket, sweatpants, sweatshirt, and shoes.
