43-year-old Tommy Lee Williams Jr. found shot to death in a Crofton parking lot

Homicide detectives responded and assumed responsibility for the investigation.

Police say, on March 28, 2024, at approximately 6:40 p.m., officers responded for a report of an unresponsive male in a gray Hyundai Santa Fe parked in the 2100 block of Baldwin Avenue in Crofton.

Anne Arundel County Fire Department personnel arrived and found the male victim, 43-year-old Tommy Lee Williams Jr. of Capitol Heights, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound(s) to his torso. Officers arrived and secured the crime scene.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by Anne Arundel County Fire Department personnel.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed responsibility for the investigation.

This is an active and ongoing investigation.
