Arrest Made: 19-Year-Old Quentyn Ervin-Davis Charged in Shooting Death of Father, 61-Year-Old Duan Davis, in Travis County
An autopsy was conducted on Monday, and the results are currently pending.
In East Travis County, a 19-year-old has been apprehended for the murder of his father.
The Travis County Sheriff’s Office received multiple 911 calls on Sunday, just past 9:30 p.m., reporting a disturbance and gunfire near a bus stop on Hog Eye Road.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered the lifeless body of 61-year-old Duan Davis from Austin.
His son, 19-year-old Quentyn Ervin-Davis, has since been charged with his father’s murder.
As part of the investigation, a search warrant was executed overnight at the residence of Duan Davis, located in the Community First! neighborhood.
An autopsy was conducted on Monday, and the results are currently pending.
The investigation remains ongoing.
