37-year-old Travis Wyrick killed after shooting in Joplin

At approximately 9:44 a.m. on Monday, Jasper County Deputies responded to a report of a disturbance involving gunfire on Pump Lane, near Zora and Schifferdecker in Joplin.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered a deceased male on the premises. Detectives arrived at the scene to collect evidence and gather statements from witnesses present.

Presently, there is no perceived danger to the public, and all individuals involved have been identified and are undergoing questioning.

The next of kin has been informed, and the deceased male has been identified as Travis S. Wyrick, aged 37, of Joplin.
