Chaotic Scene Shows Migrants Break Through Razor Wire, Knock Down Guards, Illegally Cross El Paso Border

On Thursday, over 100 migrants made an illegal attempt to enter the US by rushing a border wall, breaking through razor wire and pushing over guards.

Channel3 NOW observed approximately 600 migrants gathered at the international border, where Texas National Guard troops were trying to repel them in smaller groups.

The situation intensified as groups were segregated, and footage captured migrants appealing for assistance and rushing towards the border gate.

A group of individuals wearing hoodies, gloves, and winter jackets removed the fencing while five guards stood in a defensive stance to block the gap.

In the video, some migrants can be observed raising their hands in surrender, but moments later, others rush through, pushing aside the guards.

Members of the group proceed to run towards the border gate, shouting at the National Guardsmen on the opposite side.

The Texas National Guard promptly mobilizes to secure the area.

Texas has deployed its National Guard troops to the border with Mexico as part of Republican Gov.

Greg Abbott’s Operation Lone Star. On Tuesday, the state began preparations to enact SB4, a new law permitting state and local authorities to arrest individuals for illegal entry.

However, an appeals court halted the implementation of the measure after the Supreme Court indicated it would allow the law to take effect.
