Update: Andre Gordon Jr., the individual accused of killing his stepmother, teenage sister, and the mother of his two children in Falls Township, has been apprehended following an extended standoff in Trenton.

A man alleged to have committed a triple homicide in Falls Township, Pennsylvania, on Saturday morning is now suspected to have barricaded himself inside a residence in Trenton, possibly with hostages.

The incident commenced on Viewpoint Lane in Falls Township shortly before 9 a.m., prompting a response from Falls Township police following reports of a shooting.

At that location, Andre Gordon, 26, reportedly entered the residence forcefully and fatally shot two individuals before fleeing in a stolen vehicle that was previously carjacked in Trenton earlier that morning.

The victims have been identified as his 52-year-old stepmother, Karen Gordon, and his 13-year-old sister, Kera Gordon. Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn stated that three other individuals, including a minor, were present in the home and managed to hide during the incident.

Around 9 a.m., he proceeded to a residence on Edgewood Lane, where officials report he entered forcibly and fatally shot 25-year-old Taylor Daniel, who was the mother of his two children.

According to authorities, four additional individuals were present in the house, and one person sustained injuries after being struck by Gordon with a rifle.

Following this incident, around 9:15 a.m., he allegedly carjacked a 44-year-old male driver at gunpoint outside a Dollar General store on Bristol Pike in Morrisville. Subsequently, he fled the scene in the victim’s dark gray Honda CRV.

Shortly after, law enforcement verified that the Honda was discovered abandoned in Trenton. SWAT teams were dispatched to a nearby residence to locate Gordon.

According to police, Gordon has since barricaded himself within a residence on the 100 block of Miller Street in Trenton. Officials received intel suggesting that Gordon may have taken several individuals hostage inside the property.

Police suspect that Gordon had prior acquaintance with all the victims who were fatally shot. He is thought to be homeless and has connections to Trenton, New Jersey.

Authorities also believe he has affiliations with the residence where he is currently barricaded. A shelter-in-place directive was issued to Falls Township residents via phone and mobile alert around 9:30 a.m. It was rescinded by 12:30 p.m.

Due to the shelter-in-place directive, the Bucks County St. Patrick’s Day Parade was called off, prompting several local establishments to temporarily shut down.

Governor Josh Shapiro, upon being briefed about the incident, announced his direction for the Pennsylvania State Police to collaborate with local authorities and offer necessary assistance.
