False active shooter threat at Blue Oval SK in Glendale

Update: The Elizabethtown Police Department stated on Facebook that despite a viral social media post, there is no active shooter or threat at the Blue Oval SK site in Glendale.

Unconfirmed reports indicate a potential active shooter threat at Blue Oval in Glendale, KY.

According to an on-site worker, multiple law enforcement personnel are present, and EMS units are positioned in the vicinity.

Allegedly, the threat was written on a porta-potty, similar to a previous bomb threat incident.

An individual mentioned, “My best friend’s husband is currently on the premises. I just spoke with him, and he was unaware of the situation, but noted a significant police presence with patrol cars scattered throughout the area.”

Police officers are currently at the scene conducting an investigation.

As at the time of this report, there has been neither confirmation nor identification of any victims.

No suspects have been identified, and there has been no information immediately released regarding any arrests.
