19-year-old Leland Hairston charged with murder in shooting and stabbing death of 21-year-old Divoryan Warren-Hill
Warren-Hill is the sibling of Dachena Warren-Hill, who was fatally shot by a Fort Wayne police officer in November 2023.
According to the Fort Wayne Police Department, a 19-year-old Leland Hairston has been apprehended and accused of murder in connection with a shooting and stabbing fatality in late February.
The suspect, Leland Hairston, was arrested without any resistance during a traffic stop at approximately 3:37 p.m. on Wednesday.
The Allen County Coroner’s Office has reported that the victim, 21-year-old Divoryan Warren-Hill, passed away on February 26 due to multiple gunshot wounds and a stab wound to the neck.
Warren-Hill is the sibling of Dachena Warren-Hill, who was fatally shot by a Fort Wayne police officer in November 2023.
The Allen County prosecutor’s office concluded that the officer’s actions were justified in the shooting incident.
