Suspect in custody after shooting in Huntingdon
Police ask public to please stay out of the area.
Update: It has been confirmed that Hardin County has a suspect in custody.
In Huntingdon, a shooting involving two individuals, a suspect and a victim, occurred.
Huntingdon PD and CC Sheriff’s Department are actively searching for the suspect.
Before 3 p.m., there was a manhunt in progress near and around Walmart.
The store was evacuated temporarily but has since been declared safe, and operations have resumed.
Currently, there is no released image of the suspected individual.
Earlier, there was a bolo issued for a person from Camden, but they are not believed to be the shooter.
From available information, it appears that the public is not at risk.
