21-year-old Brianna killed, multiple injured after shooting in Milwaukee

Authorities have detained the unidentified man, the 28-year-old, the 23-year-old, and a 25-year-old individual.

A shooting in Milwaukee occurred just after noon on Sunday, February 25, resulting in one fatality and several injuries.

The incident took place at 51st and Center, close to St. Catherine Roman Catholic Church. According to the police, a 21-year-old Brianna sustained a gunshot wound and, despite life-saving efforts, was pronounced dead at the scene.

An unnamed individual and a 28-year-old were both transported to the hospital with life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Additionally, a 23-year-old suffered non-fatal gunshot injuries and was also taken to the hospital.

The events leading to the shooting are currently under investigation. However, police have indicated that it seems to be related to domestic violence and stemmed from a physical altercation where all the victims exchanged gunfire with unknown suspects.

Authorities have detained the unidentified man, the 28-year-old, the 23-year-old, and a 25-year-old individual.

They are also actively seeking other persons of interest in connection with the incident.

Pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office, charges are forthcoming.
