At least one person shot near Fruitland Park in Florida

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is currently endeavoring to apprehend a suspect accused of shooting another man on Friday afternoon, as stated by LCSO Lt. John Herrell.

While LCSO provided limited information on Friday afternoon, they informed that the male suspect shot another man in the arm, and deputies had not yet made contact with the suspected shooter.

Lt. Herrell explained that the incident originated from an argument and that the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses informed Channel3 NOW that there is a significant law enforcement presence on Shadow Hill Drive in unincorporated Fruitland Park.
