20-year-old Cequez Ceni’Je Jones arrested and charged for the murder of 21-year-old Michael Bartholomew Nixon

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office and the Coroner’s Office are jointly investigating the death of a man discovered with gunshot wounds on Thursday night.

Deputies were dispatched to Glenn Hills Drive at Tullocks Hill Drive following a report of a person with gunshot injuries.

Upon arrival, they discovered 21-year-old Michael Bartholomew Nixon on the ground with at least one gunshot wound.

Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Cequez Ceni’Je Jones, aged 20, has been arrested and is facing charges of murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
