19-year-old Madison Olivier killed in New Iberia shooting

According to the New Iberia Police Department, there was a fatal shooting in New Iberia on Thursday evening.

Officials reported that Madison Olivier, a 19-year-old resident of New Iberia, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident occurred around 6 p.m. in the 400 block of Calhoun Street, where authorities found Olivier shot inside a vehicle.

The suspect remains at large, and the investigation is ongoing.
