The bodies of a couple missing since Valentine’s Day were discovered inside a vehicle in an alley in west Birmingham.

Identified as Angeliyah ne-vaeh Jolie Webster and Christan Tyre Norris, both aged 20, they were last seen around 5 p.m. on Wednesday in the 1500 block of 20th Place in Ensley.

They were reportedly heading to a movie date at an undisclosed theater.

The couple was traveling in a white Ford Taurus. Webster, according to family members, was pregnant.

The department’s Special Victims Unit promptly initiated an investigation.

Officer Truman Fitzgerald stated that shortly before 4 p.m., investigators received information that directed them to the 4100 block of 10th Avenue Wylam.

Upon arrival, they discovered the white Ford Taurus. Tragically, both victims had been fatally shot.

“We do believe this may be the missing couple,” Fitzgerald commented shortly after the discovery of the bodies. He later verified their identities.

Several family members of the missing couple arrived at the scene in response to the news.

“We held onto hope that this situation would resolve positively, but it seems we’ve tragically lost these two individuals to homicide,” Fitzgerald expressed. “Both individuals are victims of homicide,” he emphasized. “It’s crucial to acknowledge this, given their relationship as a couple.”

The investigation is in its preliminary phase, and authorities will endeavor to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the victims’ deaths, including the location, timing, and motive.
