Police have confirmed that four students were shot at an Atlanta high school.

The incident occurred shortly after dismissal, with shots fired from an unidentified vehicle, hitting four students at the Benjamin E. Mays High School lower campus parking lot,” as stated by the district in a statement.

Upon arriving at the scene, witnesses observed a significant police presence, crime scene tape cordoning off the parking lot, and apparent evidence markers present.

All victims were taken to the hospital and their injuries were confirmed to be non-life-threatening.

The district stated that the investigation into this incident is ongoing.
