31-year-old Lisa Marie Chavis and 30-year-old Linnie Locklear Jr dead following shooting in Robeson County
This investigation marked the second homicide investigation for the RCSO on Monday.
Deputies from the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office discovered two deceased individuals near Shannon on Monday afternoon.
Sheriff Burnis Wilkins confirmed that investigators responded to the 500 block of Fodiesville Road, outside Shannon, where they found one person deceased and another injured.
The victim who died at the scene was identified as 31-year-old Lisa Marie Chavis, while the injured individual, 30-year-old Linnie Locklear Jr., was transported to UNC Southeastern Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries later on.
This investigation marked the second homicide investigation for the RCSO on Monday.
