A man was discovered fatally shot inside a Frayser tax office on Monday morning, as reported by the Memphis Police Department (MPD).

The grim finding occurred around 8:30 a.m. in the 2200 block of Frayser Boulevard.

The property, hosting a Boost Mobile store and a barber shop in addition to the tax office, had the entire parking lot cordoned off.

Approximately six squad cars were present as police investigated the lethal shooting, with no information disclosed about the circumstances leading to the gunfire.
