Update: The county jail reported that a man accused of fatally shooting a pregnant woman in Toledo surrendered himself on Thursday.

Earlier this month, police issued two Aggravated Murder warrants for Paris James, aged 35, of Toledo, in connection with the shooting death of his girlfriend and their unborn child.

James faces charges in the fatal shooting that claimed the lives of 34-year-old Tameisha Price and their unborn child, Malaysia Leani Price.

He was incarcerated at the Lucas County Corrections Center on February 29, 2024.

Authorities are probing the shooting death of a pregnant woman that occurred in the early morning hours of January 24.

The incident unfolded on the 5300 block of Norton Place at 4:48 a.m. Tameisha Price, 34, was discovered with at least one gunshot wound and pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not revealed any details about potential suspects.
