In Esenyurt , a person went from street to street and stabbed everyone he came across. While 8 injured people were taken to the hospital, the police started an operation to catch the attacker.

An unidentified attacker spread terror with a knife in Esenyurt. The attacker wandered the streets and randomly stabbed people he didn’t know. According to initial findings, 8 people were stabbed and taken to hospital.

Police teams launched an investigation into the incident upon notice and identified the attacker by examining security cameras. An investigation has been launched to capture the suspect. The moments when the person stabbed a person were also recorded on the security camera.

Those who experienced the horror of a knife attacker in Esenyurt talked about those moments. Mehmet Üstel, who was injured in his leg, said, “He started stabbing me in the morning, but he stabbed me at noon. The number of people he stabbed is not clear.” It was learned that the 9 injured people who were treated at Esenyurt Necmi Kadıoğlu State Hospital were not life-threatening.

Explaining what happened, Mehmet Üstel, one of the injured, said, “While I was walking, a person came in front of me. He took out the knife and the bread knife. It seemed like he was joking when I first saw it. He put it in my leg and walked away. I immediately fell to the ground. Someone I have never met in my life. 9 people came like this. He did not say anything. 09.30 in the morning. He said: “He started at 10:00 and stabbed me at 13.30. The number of people he stabbed is not clear.”

Hasan Karaca, the father of Çiğdem Karaca, who was injured by the attacker, said, “He stabs my child and tries to pull her bag. The shopkeepers there intervened and saved the child. He started stabbing in the morning. He may have gone to other hospitals. He didn’t say anything, he stabbed him directly. All cases have been like this. “Currently, my daughter is injured in her left leg,” he said.
