60-year-old Kristyna Keenan killed in Ashtabula County shooting
Authorities say suspect waited for victim to arrive home.
Law enforcement is actively seeking a suspect deemed armed and dangerous following the killing of a 60-year-old woman in Ashtabula Township on Thursday afternoon.
Deputies responded to a report of shots fired in the 3300 block of State Road around 6 p.m.
Upon arrival, Kristyna Keenan was discovered deceased in the driveway of her residence, succumbing to an apparent gunshot wound, as detailed by the Ashtabula County Sheriff’s Office on Friday morning.
According to authorities, the initial investigation revealed that a male suspect, operating a dark-colored sedan, entered a CVS and awaited the victim’s return home.
The suspect then left the vehicle and approached the victim’s residence, discharging multiple shots, before returning to his vehicle and heading west on East Prospect Road.
