28-year-old Clarisa Burgos dead after shot in parked car in Queens

On Tuesday night in Queens, a woman lost her life, and a man sustained injuries when they were shot while seated in a parked car, as reported by the police.

The incident occurred in a black Honda sedan close to 127th Street and Liberty Avenue in South Richmond Hill, just before midnight, according to the NYPD.

Clarisa Burgos, aged 28, suffered a gunshot wound to the head, while a 39-year-old man was hit multiple times in the torso, as indicated by the police.

The wounded man, having driven over 2 miles, arrived at the 103rd Precinct on 91st between 168th and 169th streets in Jamaica, informing officers that they had been shot, as per the police statement.

Regrettably, Burgos was pronounced dead at the scene. The man, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds, was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Authorities have not yet furnished a description of a suspect, and no arrests have been made.

The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
