Tulsa Police Chief Wendell Franklin emphasized that resorting to gunfire is never a prudent response to handling altercations, especially within a mall setting.

Chief Franklin expressed a common challenge in law enforcement, where individuals often seize the opportunity in the heat of the moment to discharge a firearm.

He highlighted the urgency of addressing such incidents, particularly at a crowded venue like this mall, especially considering the day after Christmas.

The Woodland Hills Mall intends to proceed with its scheduled opening on Wednesday morning at 10.
