Heavy police presence at McDonald’s in Lawrenceburg after reports of shooting
Police officers are currently at the scene conducting an investigation.
The Kentucky State Police are looking into a shooting involving law enforcement that took place on Saturday.
The Lawrenceburg Police Department reached out to KSP, requesting an investigation into an incident that occurred on Saturday afternoon at a local McDonald’s.
Person was shot and immediately fell to the ground and forcefully kicking the firearm away from the individual.
There is no danger to the general public, and all McDonald’s employees are secure and have returned home.
The suspect has been taken to Frankfort Hospital and is currently being transferred to UK Hospital.
Kentucky State Police (KSP) officers are en route to the hospital as well.
