34-year-old Brook Raia and 39-year-old Blase Raia dead after murder-suicide in Altoona

On Tuesday night, an apparent murder-suicide occurred in the Greenwood area of Logan Township, resulting in the deaths of two individuals.
Shortly after 8 p.m., authorities were summoned to the location of a reported murder-suicide at a residence along Dartmouth Lane.
Responding to the scene were Logan Township Police, Altoona Police, AMED, and the coroner.
The deceased were identified by Logan Township Police on Wednesday afternoon as Brook Raia, 34, and Blase Raia, 39.
As of now, information regarding the shooting remains undisclosed.
Logan Township Police, present at the scene, conveyed to WTAJ that they suspect it to be a murder-suicide.
Both Logan Township Police and the coroner assured that there is no current threat to the public.
Following the police’s arrival, a sizable crowd of people gathered in the vicinity.
