26-year-old Cristall Terrell Hereford killed after threatening to shoot customers at Waffle House in Center Point

The slain man was threatening to shoot other patrons. Authorities said no weapon was recovered from him at the scene.

Early Sunday morning, a man was shot and fatally wounded after reportedly making threats of shooting people in a Waffle House parking lot, as stated by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

The individual, identified as 26-year-old Cristall Terrell Hereford of Huntsville, has been confirmed by the Jefferson County Coroner.

Around 1:30 a.m., deputies were called to the restaurant located in the 2200 block of Center Point Parkway in response to a person allegedly making threats to shoot customers in the parking lot.

Prior to the deputies’ arrival, this individual engaged in a confrontation with a customer.

Subsequently, the sheriff’s office reports that the customer shot Hereford and then departed from the location.

The deceased individual had been making threats to shoot other patrons. Authorities reported that no weapon was found on him at the scene.

Detectives from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office are actively investigating the details surrounding the shooting.
